Gigabyte 9-series mobos are ready for Intel's 750 Series SSDs

Itching to get some of that Intel 750 Series SSD goodness into your PC after reading our review? If you own a Gigabyte motherboard based on Intel's 9-series chipsets, you're all set. The company says its X99, Z97, and H97 boards all have firmware compatible with Intel's latest PCIe SSD. Here's a lengthy list of motherboard models that work with the 750 Series and the required firmware version for each one:

Now, Gigabyte isn't the only motherboard maker that's issued firmware updates to support NVM Express SSDs like the 750 Series. NVMe-compatible firmware is available for 9-series boards from Asus, MSI, and ASRock, as well.
