In the lab: Gigabyte's GTX 980 Ti G1 Gaming

We've reviewed the GeForce GTX 980 Ti in stock, reference-card form, but this GPU will be treated to heavy customizations by board makers, as one might expect. We're rounding up the custom cards for a comparison, and Gigabyte's G1 Gaming version of the 980 Ti is the first to hit our doorstep. This card comes with Gigabyte's familiar triple-fan WindForce cooler, but its look has been updated with a silver-and-black treatment:

Not bad. I've not fired it up yet, but apparently the LEDs up top are multi-colored, so I'm hoping it's possible to customize the lighting to fit your build. This thing is also hot-clocked and sports a second DVI port, unlike the reference cards. I suspect we'll see how it performs against some very interesting competition shortly.
