Many of you have noticed that our site search engine has been out of commission for a while now. That's fallout from the server problems we experienced a while back, and I've been dragging my feet on getting it fixed, since we've been busily prepping a whole new server to host the site soon. The new server is very close now, but in the interim, I've hacked together a truly cross-platform fix: our search engine now pulls results from Google.
Hey, it's better than nothing.
We'll have something better running before too long, but for now, we do have a working site search function.
I apologize to you all for being scarce this past week. I had some personal business to attend toquite a bit, actually. Thanks to Ronald for shouldering the load all by his lonesome.
Last week was also weird for everybody, for obvious reasons. Personally, a profound sadness has settled on me over the course of the past few days. Sadness for the victims of the attacks; for the tragic, enduring truth about human nature; and, especially, over the fact that we have been pulled into war. I'm also angry, of course, but that's offset somewhat by my belief that we will strike back soonand hard. I'm just sad that it has come to this.
