EA has treated us to a couple impressive teasers of Star Wars: Battlefront's infantry gameplay on Endor and Hoth so far, but the latest glance at the game's fighter squadron battle mode may be the most hair-raising yet.
The mission structure shown in the trailer is pretty simple: Rebel forces are tasked with blowing up an Imperial transport while the Emperor's forces attempt to hold them off. The sheer number of ships in the air is impressive, though.
Just like some players might end up in the boots of iconic characters like Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader in the ground-pounding game modes, it seems like pilots might be able to fly their way into the cockpits of iconic craft like the Millenium Falcon and Slave I during dogfights. We keep saying it, but November 17 can't come soon enough.
