First-person survival game Dying Light is getting a hefty expansion in the form of Dying Light: The Following. Developer Techland has released a trailer to announce the heretofore-untold tales of Kyle Crane. The best part starts around half-way through:
Yes indeed. Now I want to mash zombies with a dune buggy.
Polygon's Dave Tach also wanted to mash zombies with a dune buggy, and at Gamescom, he got to do just that. He contrasted—and appreciated—the change of scenery from the big city setting of Dying Light with The Following's more wide-open spaces. This expansion also adds new weapon types like crossbows and sub-machine guns, as well as a robust co-op mode, which Tach tried out with one of the game's developers. Techland tells Polygon that the expansion is coming soon for $14.99.
