Hard West. Might sound like a an album by some guy named Kanye, but it's actually a game that mashes up a Wild West theme with turn-based tactical combat. Gambitious Digital Entertainment recently posted a gameplay video with developer commentary, which you can watch below.
The game had a successful Kickstarter campaign last year, and man, a bank robbery with X-COM-style combat? Yes, please! And that's not all—there's also a supernatural element thrown in that's key to the story.
The player takes control of Warren, a man set down on a path of revenge. Warren must unravel the mysteries of ancient powers and make difficult choices regarding the fate of the people he meets along his journey. As befits a proper adventure these days, the game contains multiple storylines and endings. Hard West is set to ride into town sometime this fall.
