Deals of the week: Crucial's BX100 1TB SSD and more

— 2:28 PM on September 25, 2015

Happy Friday, gerbils. We've clawed our way out from the weekly avalanche of deals, discounts, and clearances to bring you the very best of the bunch. Here's what we found:

  • Newegg has Crucial's BX100 1TB SSD on sale for just $299.99. The BX100 series scored a TR Recommended award in our tests. It's also a budget favorite in our System Guides. If you can live without extras like hardware encryption acceleration, this drive should be a solid way to store anything big that needs to load quickly.

  • Need a top-end, high-efficiency power supply? Newegg also has EVGA's Supernova 750 P2 750W PSU on sale for $109.99 with promo code EMCAXNR37. Judging by reviews, this unit is based on the same design as the 750W Supernova G2 we recommend in our System Guide—it's just more efficient. Seems like even more of a winner to us. The valiant can try and redeem a $20 mail-in rebate for an even better deal.

  • Ready for some ultra-fast NVMe-based storage to go with your Skylake build? Newegg has Intel's 750 Series 400GB SSD on sale for $30 off. This drive is one of the fastest you can buy right now, according to our tests, and a firmware update released today should cure one of our few complaints about it: long boot times.

  • Finally, Newegg has Acer's H236HL bid 23" display on sale for $119.99 after promo code EMCAXNS42. This 1080p IPS display should serve just fine as a basic monitor for most folks, and its discounted price is $10 cheaper than you'll find it anywhere else, from what we can tell.

Those are all the deals we could find this week—as usual, if we missed something juicy, be sure to share with other gerbils in the comments.
