Deals of the week: an ultrawide FreeSync monitor and more
Happy Friday, gerbils. Last week, our deals were all about SSDs, and this week, they're (almost) all about monitors. Check out these displays for PC users of every stripe:
- Newegg has LG's 29UM67P 29" ultrawide monitor on sale for $279.99. This FreeSync-equipped display has a 2560x1080 IPS panel with 99% sRGB coverage, so it could be well-suited for those who want a combination of a wide vista and accurate colors.
- Newegg also has Dell's Ultrasharp U2415 24" monitor on deep discount at $239.99 with promo code EMCKAAX38. This display's 1920x1200 IPS panel has an unusual 16:10 aspect ratio. Dell also claims to calibrate the U2415 at the factory for a delta-E of less than three.
- If the displays above are too rich for your blood, Newegg also has Acer's G237HL bi 23" IPS monitor on sale for just $109.99 after promo code EMCKAAW25. This 1080p monitor should be just fine for basic computing needs. It's pretty incredible that you can pick up an IPS monitor these days for just over a Benjamin.
- Not looking to upgrade your monitor? TigerDirect turned up another cache of Crucial's M500 960GB SSDs, and it's selling them for $299.99 apiece. The M500 is an older drive, but it's still a good deal for a hefty chunk of solid-state storage at that price.
Those are the best deals we could find this week. As always, if you uncover a treasure that we missed, be sure to share it with other TR readers in the comments.
