G.Skill intros DDR4 SO-DIMM kits with capacities up to 64GB

G.Skill is probably best known for its RAM, which we regularly recommend in our system guides. The company has now announced something a little different: 64GB memory kits for your laptop (or mini-PC), spread across four SO-DIMMs. Overkill much?

G.Skill didn't stop with an excessive capacity, either. The new kits are also available in speeds up to 2,800 GT/s. Voltage is 1.2V across the board. For those with more modest needs, G.Skill also offers kits with smaller capacities, starting at 4GB.

It's safe to say that not every system has four SO-DIMM slots, but quasi-laptops like the Eurocom Sky X9 or the Alienware 18 can make use of these big packs of RAM.
