It's Christmas day, and that means it's the grand finale of our 12 days of giveaways. Let's start the festivities by taking the wrapping off the winner of yesterday's EVGA's GeForce GTX 980 FTW GPU. It's an especially merry Christmas for Eric Schwarz, because that sweet card is all yours. Eric, look for a message soon from our business guy, Adam Eiberger, with instructions on how to claim your prize. Thanks again to EVGA for helping us spread some Christmas cheer.
For our last day of giveaways, we have a mighty haul from Gigabyte. The final prize is an awesome GPU and motherboard bundle comprising a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Xtreme Gaming graphics card and a GA-X99-UD3P motherboard.
The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Xtreme Gaming graphics card sports Gigabyte's Windforce 3X cooler. With the help of three fans and a hulking heatsink, the Xtreme Gaming boasts 1190MHz base and 1342MHz boost clocks. This card also comes with a metal backplate for extra rigidity. Customizable RGB LED lighting illuminates the Windforce logo on the side of the cooler and encircles each fan.
The Gigabyte GA-X99-UD3P is an LGA2011-v3 socket motherboard that the GTX 970 above will feel right at home in. It's also got plenty of room to move in a few more graphics cards if the winner wants to team them up reindeer style.
Gigabyte's Q-Flash Plus technology allows the GA-X99-UD3P's BIOS to be updated without any CPU or memory installed in the board. This mobo also has a sleigh-load of other features, including support for DDR4 XMP profiles up to 3333 MHz, a 10 Gb/s M.2 slot, separate PCB layers for left and right audio channels, and of course Ambient LED lighting in the analog audio traces, just to name a few of its virtues.
If you've already entered our contest and haven't won anything yet, you're already eligible to win this bundle. If you haven't entered or need to catch up on what's happening, check out the rules and details in our introductory post, and enter using the form on that page. Entries will close tomorrow, 12/26/2015, at noon central time. We will then announce a winner. Good luck.
