The fine people at Monoprice have revealed a take on the increasingly popular 21:9 monitor. This screen's combination of specs and price sure looks like a winner to me.
The new screen has an 34" IPS panel with 3440x1440 resolution. It comes out of the box running a higher than average 75Hz refresh rate. There's no variable refresh rate goodness here, but with a price tag of only $499 I expect plenty of people will forgive the omission. Monoprice says the monitor will be available this quarter.
