The GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti cards were just announced, and every manufacturer is getting in on the fun. Zotac is the first out of the gate with its GTX 1050s. The company tells us that it's launching three graphics cards based on the GP107 GPU: the simply-named Zotac GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti, and an OC Edition of the 1050 Ti.
The Zotac GTX 1050 runs at the reference 1354 MHz base and 1455 MHz boost clocks. Zotac equips the card with 2GB of GDDR5 memory with a 7 GT/s data rate. The GTX 1050 Ti gets a small bump from the reference clock rates, to 1303 MHz base and 1417 MHz boost speeds. Its 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM runs at the same 7 GT/s, though.
Those two cards have simple single-fan coolers and are only as long as the PCIe slot itself at just 5.7". Meanwhile, the GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition upgrades to a larger dual-fan cooler and is longer overall, at nearly 7". Perhaps as a result of the improved cooling, it runs higher clocks as well, up to 1392 MHz base and 1506 MHz boost.
The three cards are otherwise pretty similar. All of them are slot-powered and equipped with single-slot mounting brackets bearing one DisplayPort 1.4 connection, one HDMI 2.0b connection, and a dual-link DVI port. Despite the single-slot bracket, the coolers rise well above the first slot, though.
