Here's a fun little ZDNet article about a 16 year old hacker that broke into no fewer than 27 Internet service providers a month or two ago. The compromised organizations included colleges, commercial ISP's and even backbone Internet providers. Pacific Bell is a notable victim here because they had 200,000 subscriber passwords stolen by the guy; when the cops caught him they found he'd decrypted 63,000 of them. Well, you have to hand it to him for being industrious; I'm sure once he gets done with all this felony stuff that he'll be hired as a security consultant right away.
