The truth was out there, after all.

Taipei, Taiwan and Los Altos, CA - November 12, 2001 - Silicon Integrated Systems Corp. (SiS), a leading core logic and graphics supplier, and Rambus Inc. (Nasdaq:RMBS), the leading provider of high speed chip connections, today announced an expansion of the original RDRAM licensing agreement between the companies. SiS expanded their license with Rambus to include the current generation of RDRAM technology, known as Direct RDRAMâ„¢ , which allows SiS to integrate RDRAM intellectual property into future products for PCs, networking and communications applications.
SiS continues to amaze. No official word on whether or not there will be an Athlon XP / RDRAM chipset.
