Back in November, PROM cited a source claiming that ATI was preparing to increase the clock speed of the Radeon 8500 to 300MHz core/600MHz (300MHz DDR) memory. While there has been no official confirmation, PROM has speculated that this "Radeon 8500 Ultra" will be available in February.
