While you were out...

— 12:00 AM on January 2, 2002

Now that the holidays have pretty much blown over, I expect today is the first day some of you have been here in a little while. While you were gone, we delved deep into the mysteries of ATI's Radeon 8500 with help from Kert Chian. We also inaugurated our excellent new forums, which have picked up steam quickly. The forums require new accounts (separate from both the comments system and our old forums), so go register now and get it over with. Quite a few folks already have. We are contemplating starting up a distributed computing effort of some sort.

There's a new poll over there on the right. And if you missed our Pentium 4 DDR chipset comparo, you'll want to check that out. We've also been awash in a torrent of year-in-review articles, and we said goodbye to Stomped.com. Now, buckle your seatbelts, because January at TR is going to be a rush.

Like what we're doing? Pay what you want to support TR and get nifty extra features.
