In preparation for the next episode, my family bought Episode I on DVD, and we watched it tonight. Jr. Damage loved the pod race, and the movie seemed to hold his attention pretty well for the most part. Not bad considering he's not even three yet, but then I think Phantom Menace was more directed at people his age than at adults. I have to admit, Menace isn't all bad, but boy are there some wince-inducing things going on in that movie.
So will Clones manage to redeem the franchise, or has Lucas lost the touch? Reviews seem mixed, but I'm encouraged by many of the comments in the positive reviews.
