Zalman Tech's fanless GF4 Ti 4400

— 4:21 PM on June 6, 2002

With apologies to our peripatetic correspondent, the armchair Computex coverage continues. Zalman Tech is mostly known around these parts for its flower-shaped heatsinks, but Zalman takes a shot at a crowded field with a new line of VGA cards. Hey, where's the beef...err, fan? These fanless GF4 cards have the heat removed through a heatpipe. Basically, Zalman has applied its CPU HSF technology to video cards. Low noise output is the selling point here, but I'm not sure how these cards would overclock. Zalman had GF4 Ti 4400, GF4 MX 440, GF4 MX 420, and GF3 Ti 500 cards on display.
