That's right, even though Windows 2000 isn't even out yet (unless you buy a
system to get it) they're already working on the first set of bug fixes, according to this News.com article. The rumor is that the service pack will be released in June, timed to coincide with the release of Windows 2000 Data Center. Data Center is a version of Windows 2000 designed to run high-traffic web and e-commerce servers.
Supposedly the service pack will be much smaller than recent NT service packs, because Microsoft will (drum roll please) actually stick to bug fixes and not roll lots of new software into the SP. I'll believe it when I see it.
