DigiTimes is reporting that, finally, NVIDIA has worked out the glitches in its nForce2 chipset and is promising volume shipments to its partners for October:

According to sources, Nvidia recently informed clients that related technology problems have been solved and it will begin volume shipments early next month. First-tier motherboard makers such as Asustek Computer and Micro-Star International (MSI) said they expect to receive the chipsets on October 1 at the earliest.
It will still take some time before we see nForce2-based products on store shelves, but it's comforting to know that NVIDIA has worked out the details for this widely-anticipated chipset. What can dual-channel DDR400 do for the Athlon XP's performance? We're one step closer to finding out.
