Asus' 850E-based P4T533 supports Hyperthreading

— 5:45 PM on October 2, 2002

Some have speculated that Intel's upcoming Hyperthreading technology will require new chipsets, but a new BIOS for Asus' P4T533 motherboard, which uses Intel's 850E chipset, lists Hyperthreading support. I can't find BIOS updates for Asus' 845E and 845G-based boards that list Hyperthreading support, which either means that those chipsets won't support Hyperthreading at all, or that Asus is still in the process of updating BIOSes. Thanks to the [H]ard|OCP for the tip.

Tip: You can use the A/Z keys to walk threads.
