Epox unlocks Athlon multipliers with a BIOS

Unlocking AMD's latest Athlon XP processors is a bit of a fine art, but it's something that anyone can do with a steady hand and a rear window defroster repair kit . To unlock the multiplier of older Athlon processors, all you need is a pencil. Now, it looks like Epox has discovered the holy grail of multiplier unlocking; they're doing it right in the BIOS. This new multiplier unlocking capability is limited to the KT400-based 8K9A, at least for now, but I'm eager to see other boards pick it up. It's probably too much to ask for a BIOS that would unlock the multiplier of Intel's Pentium 4, but a guy can hope.
