ATI announces PCI All-In-Wonder

— 6:24 AM on December 2, 2002

ATI is parading a new graphics card today, but it's not what you might expect. The All-In-Wonder VE tacks ATI's All-In-Wonder VIVO and PVR capabilities onto a low-end Radeon 7500-class GPU and wraps it all up on a PCI card that'll set you back $129. Though the Radeon 7500's 3D performance is weak next to today's GPUs, this new All-In-Wonder is really more appropriate for small form factor media PCs like Shuttle's AGP-less cubes and VIA's Eden platform. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the All-In-Wonder VE comes with ATI's excellent Remote Wonder RF remote.
