Friday night topic: The future of NASA

— 7:39 PM on February 21, 2003

A pair of essays by Charles Krauthammer, before and after the shuttle Columbia's disaster make the case for true space exploration instead of shuttling things to and from orbit. The first essay is especially good.

Is he right? Have we set our sights too low? Should NASA be aiming for the Mars?
