Our new web server is holding up well against the strain of a pretty good Slashdotting. You can check the sysinfo yourself. We've had a number of high-traffic days since it's come online, actually, and the thing has done well for us.
Right now, though, I want to give mad props to our web hosting guys, Defender Hosting, for doing such an excellent job for us. Even when we chew up gobs of their bandwidth serving up geeky line graphs interspersed with pictures of a semi-naked virtual pixie, they don't complain, and the site response times are very steady. If you have web hosting needs, especially in the LAMP realm, please do check these guys out. They know their stuff, and they have the capacity to host sites like TR and 2CPU.com without breaking a sweat.
