Made you look! I'm kidding, of course. Instead, Dan the man would like to share his theory on why LCD displays are so popular.
I was wondering why it is that so many people who upgrade from CRT to LCD monitors seem to like their new screens for reasons unassociated with their actual qualities. And here it is.
Specifically, I wondered why LCD purchasers so often say their new screens cause them so very much less eyestrain.
I formed a theory.
After spending a long time with CRT monitors, I myself have succumbed to temptation and bought a 20" Dell UltraSharp 2000FP. It's nice, but I can't say it is that much better than the Sony 21" CRT F520 I used to use regularly. How many of you prefer LCD's over CRT's?
