The absolute baddest hard drive on the block

Quantum has come up with a new 10,000-rpm hard drive that may put even the new 15K-rpm drives to shame. Go read StorageReview's look at the Atlas 10k II. This puppy has an average seek time of a miniscule 4.7 milliseconds, an 8MB buffer, and it outperforms its 10K-rpm competition by 20 to 25%. Absolutely stunning.
