I have a couple things for you here on this Saturday afternoon. First, Dave at B3D sent word of his forum post with some images analyzing the filtering differences between 3DMark03.exe and 3DMurk03.exe with the Detonator FX drivers. He notes:
If you compare the 1x 3dmurk to the 8x 3dmurk shots you'll not that the quality of filtering improves through all the texture sections. Contrast that with the 3Dmark 1x and 8x you see that only every other texture section gets improved filtering. With the name as '3DMark03' the red/green pink/yellow secions always appear to stay at the same filtering level as 1x, while the black/white and blue/pink sections do see improved texture filtering.Interesting.
Next, I'm looking for busts in our new comments system, either page layout or other types of bugs/quirks. If you have noticed any persistent problems, please let me know, epsecially if you're using a browser other than IE.
I believe I've cleaned up some minor page width oddities with certain pages in Threaded mode today. Also, we cut out some of the limitations on anonymous posting recently. You can post more frequently without hitting the post rate limit, and proxy detection shouldn't be so strict. Should be a little friendlier to use.
