I was sitting around tonight, slaving away on a TR review for you folks, and my bud Fatality dropped by for a sec. I mention this mainly because Fatality is the best Quake player in the world. I showed him all the hardware sitting around Damage Labs for testing, and he talked about how he wins at Quake a lot.
A word of advice: if you know the best Quake player in the world, don't play him in Quake. It will make you feel very, very small.
By the way, thanks to all of you who have offered encouragement for us here at TR in light of recent events. We will be just freaking, grotesquely huge before you know it, but these things take time. :) Some of you have asked how you can help. Well, we do take article submissions, so if you really want to contribute, let me know.
We could also use support from some additional hardware resellers. I'm not shelling out for 128MB of RDRAM, but if I had it, I could test this here PIII 800 a lot better. Drop me a line if you'd like to talk about that.
