NVIDIA keeps rolling: NV15, NV20 details

The blokes at The Register are serving up even more good stuff today, with a little story on the NV15 and NV20 chips in development at NVIDIA. These guys really do release a new chip every six months, and with most of the competition unable to keep up with the GeForce, it's almost looking silly at this point. Here's the scoop on the NV20:

As for the NV20, we know that the chip will be based on a massively complex architecture, containing more than 20 million transistors, and will be available at the end of 2000. NV20-based cards will be introduced six months after the NV15.
