SCO to target Linux users individually

— 12:13 PM on August 20, 2003

In a move that's sure to enrage the Linux community even more, SCO is preparing legal action against Linux users. Apparently, the move is designed to give SCO a chance to prove its case in court. They'll be targeting Linux users who are also using IBM's AIX and Dynix operating systems to kill both birds with one stone.

For now, it looks like SCO is only targeting Linux servers, but desktop versions of the operating system are technically fair game. Let's hope the case against SCO's first target can be heard quickly with all of SCO's supposed evidence laid out in plain view for all to see.
