I think I've found a new pop-up blocker in Google Toolbar. This thing is way better than the other one I've been using, which actually allowed windows to open and then quickly closed them. This process would slow everything down and cause on-screen flickering whenever I loaded a pop-up-ad-laden page. Google Toolbar just stops 'em cold, and as far as I've noticed, it doesn't slow things down at all. What's more, Google Toolbar will let you do a per-site "allow pop-ups," so you can allow pop-ups on sites (like TR) with no pop-up ads that use pop-ups for other things. Of course, you'll probably want to turn off "advanced features" for privacy reasons, but otherwise, this thing rocks.

You know football season is almost here now that TMQ is back...
