NV30 core unraveled

— 1:39 AM on September 3, 2003

We've been curious about the internal structure of NVIDIA's GeForce FX graphics chips since they were first introduced, but NVIDIA has closely guarded the details of its CineFX architecture. In this article, 3DCenter cuts through all the "levels of parallelism" talk and provides the most detailed look at NV30 and NV35's guts that I've seen to date. The article is quite technical, but it does provide some interesting details on a graphics architecture that's been largely shrouded in mystery since its unveiling.
