Apple has responded to yesterday's widespread conjecture and made it known that OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) will indeed receive security fixes, in a statement given to MacCentral, reported here.
Also in Apple news today is a ghoulish bug in OS X 10.3 (Panther), which is rendering many external hard drives unreadable and leaving some Mac users saying "BOO!"
