Poll time: Xbox's effect on PC gaming

We've cooked up a spicy new poll for you, but before we get into that, let's check out the results from our last poll on graphics spending. 49% of voters are willing to spend between $100 and $200 on a new graphics card, followed by 25% willing to shell out between $200 and $300. 9% of voters are after budget graphics cards under $100, and also looking at cards between $300 and $400. Finally, 5% are willing to spend over $400 to have the best graphics card on the block.

So far this week, we've learned that IBM will be providing processor technology and SiS media I/O tech for Microsoft's next Xbox; an Xbox-related poll only seems appropriate:

Has the Xbox had a positive or negative effect on PC gaming?
