VIA's K8T800 Pro release nears

As reported here, VIA is hard-at-work on the K8T800 Pro, an Athlon 64 chipset that will succeed VIA's flagship K8T800. Of course, NVIDIA aims to take back the performance crown with the nForce3 250, and it appears likely that the two competing chipsets may be released during the same time frame. Therefore, prospective buyers may want to wait for a head-to-head comparison before upgrading their systems.
