Hard to believe, but CNN reports the Xbox may be in for a big price cut by Labor Day, according to one analyst. As the article points out, such a price would very likely result in a loss on each hardware sale. The trick, of course, is to make it up in volume.
The other news here is a prediction Microsoft may launch its Xbox successor late next year, much earlier than previously thought.
