Newer, better ways to absorb radiation
Well, this is discouraging. Last November, I reported on a story about possible harmful side effects from cell phones. The original article said that headsets would help cell phone users avoid the radiation.
Now comes this blurb at the Nando Times (thanks to ZDNet for pointing me there) that highlights the results of a new study. The new research claims that the headsets act as antennas for the radiation, and "can actually [triple] levels of radiation transmitted to the brain." At this point I'm trying to decide if I should buy a lead-lined football helmet, or just resort to a couple of cans with a string between them.
