HardOCP nabs next-gen graphics details

HardOCP has posted some interesting information on both ATI and NVIDIA's next-gen graphics parts. On the ATI front, the OCP has "solid but unconfirmed" specs, clock speeds, release dates, and MSRPs for the Radeon X800 SE, Pro, XT, and the PCI Express X880 XT. It looks like ATI will be differentiating X800 versions by not only clock speeds, but also memory bus width and the number of pixel pipelines.

Turning to NVIDIA, it appears that Gigabyte inadvertently launched its NV40-based GeForce 6800 cards early. Clock speeds, release dates, and prices don't appear to have been made public, but it looks like both the GeForce 6800 and 6800 Ultra will be 16-pipe designs. The Ultra will also have dual DVI ports and an HDTV output. According to Gigabyte, the GeForce 6800s can deliver "up to 8x the shading power of previous generation products," too.
