The guys at Digit-Life have taken their D3D RightMark synthetic tests and examined the NV40 architecture in some detail. There are no game tests here, but if you graphics geeks want to know whether NVIDIA's hidden surface removal algorithm has changed from NV38 to NV40, you may enjoy this article. Many of their results confirm what we found in our GeForce 6800 Ultra review, including the fact that NVIDIA's pixel shader performance problems have been essentially resolved.
