VIA to showcase new EPIA platform next week

VIA is going to preview a new EPIA platform at Computex next week. The EPIA SP Mini-ITX platform will be on display with a 1.3GHz C3 processor and hardware MPEG4 decoding acceleration thanks to a CN400 Digital Media chipset. The CN400 chipset also includes VIA's VT8237 south bridge, bringing space-saving Serial ATA support to the EPIA platform. Unfortunately, it looks like the VT8237 will also be handling the EPIA SP's audio capabilities. It would have been nice to see one of VIA's 24-bit Envy audio chips on-board.
