Sony intros world's smallest 7.2 MP camera

— 4:15 PM on July 23, 2004

Last December, I gave the Nikon COOLPIX 5400 as a Christmas gift to someone. Now I thought that I was getting her a pretty nice camera, but it turned out that she didn't like it because the camera wouldn't fit neatly into her purse. She cared more about the ergonomics than the features! I was... nonplussed.

Well, Sony claims that its new Cyber-shot® DSC-P150 is the world's smallest 7.2 megapixel digital camera, so now you can have the best-of-both-worlds: a compact digital camera that is both powerful and feature-rich. It hits store shelves in September and should retail for under $500.
