DFI intros LANPartyUT mobo series

— 11:12 AM on July 26, 2004

A new wave of DFI enthusiast motherboards is coming, and the first in the series is the LANPartyUT 915P-T12, based on the Intel 915P chipset. This puppy has every feature under the sun, including dual Gigabit Ethernet and eight-channel audio. This mobo will also include slots for both DDR and DDR2 memory, to ease the transition. More interestingly, the board includes what DFI is calling Karajan audio, which "builds upon Intel’s new Azalia audio and further eliminates unwanted background noise to deliver the purest sound quality." I presume that's using the little audio riser card we spotted at Computex to isolate the codec. We'll try to get our hands on one of these boards soon.
