Palm announced today that it will be putting wireless communication into its entire product line by the end of the year. Additionally, at least some of the models will be switching from the Motorola Dragonball processor to an ARM processor. Take a look at this News.com article for details.
The new CPU will give the PDAs a serious boost in processor power. Currently, Palms based on the Dragonball processor run at 20 MHz or less; the new processors will run at 200 MHz, with new ARM chips running at 400 MHz expected towards the end of the year. Mmmmm..... power....
