New Radeons on the way?
The Inquirer has some interesting information on upcoming ATI graphics products. According to their sources, ATI is planning to unleash the Radeon X850 series next year. These high-end cards will be based on a 0.13-micron R423 graphics core and could sport a dual-slot cooling solution reminiscent of Abit's OTES and the dreaded Dustbuster.
For more mid-range markets, ATI will apparently have Radeon X800 XL and X800 available in 2005. Based on a 0.11-micron R430 graphics chip, the new X800s will apparently be priced between $250 and $350 with single-slot coolers.
