The Phantom console appears
The Inquirer has posted a picture and a blurb about the Phantom console. The product is being billed as a "broadband receiver with integrated on-demand game delivery service," but the architecture of the Phantom console itself is believed to be very similar to a PC. However, you won't be able to buy games on disc like most other consoles, but you will be able to download and play new and different games every month through a subscription service. So it will be interesting to see how well the subscription model will be received by gamers when the console is expected to hit the market in June.
