NVIDIA has formally announced an AGP version of its budget GeForce 6200 graphics processor:

NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), today extended the world-renowned GeForce 6 Series architecture and performance into the value PC segment of AGP-based PCs with the introduction of the NVIDIA® GeForce™ 6200 AGP graphics processing unit (GPU). The GeForce 6200 GPUs offer best-in-class performance in the value segment by taking the GeForce 6 graphics architecture, which has been described as the most advanced in the world, top-to-bottom in the NVIDIA product line-up.
GPUs are apparently already shipping and cards are expected from NVIDIA's partners in February. With native HDTV output support and NVIDIA's PureVideo technology, AGP-based GeForce 6200 cards could be perfect companions for high definition home theater PCs.
