AOpen offers half-height Pentium M SFF

— 4:43 AM on February 21, 2005

DigiTimes has the goods on a "Cube Mini" Pentium M small form factor system from AOpen. At only 106mm tall, the MZ855 is roughly half the height of Shuttle's P-Series chassis, but still accepts AGP graphics cards provided they're no longer than 185mm. A version of the Cube Mini based on Intel's new "Alviso" 915GM chipset will apparently be released in the second quarter of the year, hopefully with support for PCI Express graphics cards.
