NVIDIA to reveal next-gen graphics at Computex

— 11:26 AM on May 12, 2005

Taiwanese motherboard makers expect NVIDIA to reveal its next-gen G70 graphics chip at Computex. Built on a 0.11-micron fabrication process, the G70 will apparently double the performance of NVIDIA's current GeForce 6 series. High-end cards should hit the market in the third quarter of the year and sell for $549. Further details are scarce, but Computex is only a couple of weeks away.
