DivX has launched version 6 of its popular video codec. The latest version adds support for DVD-like menus, and supposedly offers 20-40% better compression than previous releases. Version 6.0 also introduces a new .divx file extension.
The latest version of DivX is available in two bundles: one for .divx creation and another for playback. While the DivX Play bundle is offered free of charge, the DivX Create bundle will set you back $20.
